Cupra Born tyres
The Cupra Born leaves the factory on 215/50 R19 and 215/55 R18 and 235/40 R20 depending on wheel size, and the 215/55 R18 95T below is the one most owners are replacing. What changes on this car
The Born was sold on three wheel sizes and each runs a different tyre: 215/55 R18, 215/50 R19 and 235/40 R20. The 20 inch is wider as well as larger, so it is not the same tyre on a bigger rim.
It shares its platform with the Volkswagen ID.3. The 18 and 19 inch run standard-load tyres, but the 20 inch does not: 96 is the XL index for 235/40 R20, where a standard-load tyre stops at 92, so a set for the 20 inch wheel has to be XL.
