The Omoda E5 runs one fitment, 215/55 R18 99H XL. XL is not optional here; it is what the car was type approved on. The Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica takes the same size.

What you are looking for, drawn. The real one is on on the driver's door jamb, on the b-pillar, and its figures are the ones that count.

Your own placard is the authority. You will find it on the on the driver's door jamb, on the B-pillar. Where it disagrees with this page, it wins. Match or exceed the size, load index, speed rating and construction class it gives, and use its pressure figure rather than anything printed on the tyre.

What changes on this car

The E5 is the electric version of the Omoda 5 and does not share the petrol car's tyre spec. Michelin lists the 1.6 petrol on 215/55 R18 95H but the E5 on 215/55 R18 99H, the XL version of the same size.

That four-point step, from 690 kg to 775 kg per tyre, is there to carry the battery. A standard-load 95H from the petrol car is not a valid replacement on the E5.

No tyres listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 215/55 R18. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

Common questions

What size tyres does the Omoda E5 take?
It runs 215/55 R18. The exact fitment for your car is on On the driver's door jamb, on the B-pillar.
Can I fit a cheaper tyre to a Omoda E5?
Only at 215/55 R18 99H XL or better. That is the figure to hold: a tyre below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
