About JoJo Tyres
We publish tyre fitment data and plain English guides for electric vehicles and e-bikes, and we sell the tyres we write about. The guides come first and they are free, because the reason most people overpay for a tyre is that nobody explained what they were buying.
How the data is sourced
Fitments come from the vehicle's own placard or handbook, or from the manufacturer's own published data. Retailer lookups and size aggregator sites are useful for finding a candidate and are not evidence, because every one of them is ultimately copying somebody. Two independent sources per fitment, with dates, and where they disagree the page does not publish.
What we will not do
- Publish a fitment below your vehicle's own load index, speed rating or construction class, at any price.
- Invent ratings or reproduce anybody else's reviews.
- Describe ourselves as approved by or partnered with a manufacturer we have no agreement with.
- Sell position on a page.
Why the name
Because it is ours. We looked at etyres.trade first and dropped it: etyres is a British tyre business that has been trading since 1992, and using their word with a different suffix would have been their name with a hat on.
