Toyota bZ4X tires
The Toyota bZ4X leaves the factory on 235/50 R20 and 235/60 R18 depending on wheel size, and the 235/60 R18 103V below is the one most owners are replacing. A standard load 103 rating is modest for an electric car and says something about where this one's curb weight sits. The Lexus RZ takes the same size.
Every fitment
| Generation | Trim | Wheel | Tire size | Load index | Speed | Construction | Marking | Pressure |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Current | XLE, 18in | 18in | 235/60 R18 | 103 | V | SL | none | see plate |
| Current | Limited and Nightshade, 20in | 20in | 235/50 R20 | 100 | V | SL | none | see plate |
Your own placard is the authority. You will find it on the on the driver's door jamb, on the B-pillar. Where it disagrees with this page, it wins. Match or exceed the size, load index, speed rating and construction class it gives, and use its pressure figure rather than anything printed on the tire.
What changes on this car
The 20 inch fitment differs by market. UK cars list 235/50 R20 104V, an XL rating good for 900 kg, while US cars are listed at a standard-load 100V (800 kg). A US-spec replacement is under-rated for a UK car.
On 18 inch wheels the load index is 103 in both countries, with an H rating in the UK and a V in the US.
In the US the car is sold as the bZ from the 2026 model year, on the same two sizes. It was developed alongside the Subaru Solterra.
No tires listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 235/60 R18. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

Common questions
- What size tires does the Toyota bZ4X take?
- It runs 235/50 R20 and 235/60 R18. The exact fitment for your car is on On the driver's door jamb, on the B-pillar.
- Can I fit a cheaper tire to a Toyota bZ4X?
- Only at 235/60 R18 103V or better. That is the figure to hold: a tire below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
