There is no rolling resistance grade on a US tire. What is molded into the sidewall is UTQG: a treadwear number, a traction grade of AA, A, B or C, and a temperature grade of A, B or C.
What it is for
Michelin's Elect marking identifies a tire validated against the three things an electric drivetrain does differently: the standing weight of a battery pack, the torque arriving instantly at low speed, and the rolling resistance that decides how much of the battery reaches the road. The acoustic version adds a polyurethane foam layer bonded to the inner liner, which damps the cavity resonance that a quiet cabin stops masking.
