Ora 03 tyres

The Ora 03 leaves the factory on 225/50 R18 and 235/45 R19 and 235/50 R18 depending on wheel size, and the 225/50 R18 99H XL below is the one most owners are replacing. XL is not optional here; it is what the car was type approved on. The Honda e:Ny1 takes the same size.

Your own placard is the authority. You will find it on the on the driver's door jamb, on the B-pillar. Where it disagrees with this page, it wins. Match or exceed the size, load index, speed rating and construction class it gives, and use its pressure figure rather than anything printed on the tyre.
What changes on this car
Two different 18 inch sizes are listed for the Ora 03, sold in the UK at first as the Funky Cat: 225/50 R18 99H, which is XL, and 235/50 R18 97V, which is standard load. Read the sidewall before ordering, because the load and speed ratings differ between them.
The 19 inch 235/45 R19 99W is the only W-rated fitment. Load ratings run from 730 kg on the 235/50 R18 to 775 kg on the other two sizes.
No tyres listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 225/50 R18. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

Every figure here comes from one tyre maker's own fitment data, checked across different years or trims. That is a second look rather than a second opinion, so check the label on your door jamb before you buy.

Common questions
- What size tyres does the Ora 03 take?
- It runs 225/50 R18 and 235/45 R19 and 235/50 R18. The exact fitment for your car is on On the driver's door jamb, on the B-pillar.
- Can I fit a cheaper tyre to a Ora 03?
- Only at 225/50 R18 99H XL or better. That is the figure to hold: a tyre below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
