Hankook iON evo
8 sizes, 225/55 R18 to 255/45 R20
Hankook Tire & Technology · Manufacturer material, used by permission
Designed for electric cars from the ground up rather than adapted from a combustion tyre, and the winner of the 2025 Auto Bild EV tyre test. Good fit for a mainstream EV where the owner wants the tested answer rather than the familiar name.

Great Britain retained Regulation (EC) 1222/2009, so the label here uses the older A to G scales. Northern Ireland follows the current EU label, which runs A to E and carries a QR code.
What it is for
The iON range exists because Hankook took the view that an EV tyre is a different design brief rather than a different compound on the same casing. The evo is the summer tyre in that range; there is an SUV version, an all-season version and a winter version built on the same thinking.
Technology
- Acoustic foam liner
