Porsche Macan Electric tyres
The Porsche Macan Electric leaves the factory on 235/55 R20 and 255/40 R22 and 255/45 R21 depending on wheel size, and the 235/55 R20 105Y XL below is the one most owners are replacing. XL is not optional here; it is what the car was type approved on. It is staggered: a 235 section at the front and a 285 at the back, so the two can never be swapped across axles and the rear goes first.

What changes on this car
The rear tyre is 50 mm wider than the front on the 20in wheel (235 against 285) and 40 mm wider on the 21 and 22in, so there is no front-to-rear rotation on any version.
The 20in rear, 285/45 R20 112Y XL, carries 1,120 kg per tyre, the highest rating on the car. The 22in front is the lowest at index 103, 875 kg, with about 102 mm of sidewall.
Porsche's approval list gives the same sizes in V-rated all-season and winter form, except that the 21in winter rear narrows to 285/40 R21 109V. Approved tyres carry Porsche's N code on the sidewall.
It shares only the name with the earlier petrol Macan. The electric car sits on the PPE platform shared with the Audi Q6 e-tron, so tyre advice for the combustion model does not apply to it.
