Zero SR/F tyres

The Zero SR/F runs one fitment, 120/70 R17 58W. It is staggered: a 120 section at the front and a 180 at the back, so the two can never be swapped across axles and the rear goes first. The Energica Ego takes the same size.

What you are looking for, drawn. The real one is on the specifications section of the owner's manual, and its figures are the ones that count.

Your own placard is the authority. You will find it on the the specifications section of the owner's manual. Where it disagrees with this page, it wins. Match or exceed the size, load index, speed rating and construction class it gives, and use its pressure figure rather than anything printed on the tyre.

What changes on this machine

Zero's manual names Pirelli's Angel GT and Michelin's Road 5 as the alternatives it permits at 58W front and 73W rear, and tells owners not to mix makes or patterns across the two wheels, because a mismatched pair can upset the ABS and traction control.

The 180/55 rear sits on a 5.50 inch rim and is rated 73, or 365kg. The motor drives and regenerates through that one wheel, so the rear is the tyre you will be buying most often.

No tyres listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 120/70 R17. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

Including the manufacturer's own published figure. Neither source is standing next to your vehicle, which is why the placard still wins.

Common questions

What size tyres does the Zero SR/F take?
It runs 120/70 R17. The exact fitment for your machine is on The specifications section of the owner's manual.
Can I fit a cheaper tyre to a Zero SR/F?
Only at 120/70 R17 58W or better. That is the figure to hold: a tyre below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
