Zero FXE tyres
The Zero FXE runs one fitment, 110/70 R17 54H. It is staggered: a 110 section at the front and a 140 at the back, so the two can never be swapped across axles and the rear goes first. The Zero S takes the same size.
Every fitment
| Generation | Trim | Wheel | Tyre size | Load index | Speed | Construction | Marking | Pressure |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Current | FXE | 17in | 110/70 R17 front, 140/70 R17 rear | 54 | H | SL | none | see plate |
Your own placard is the authority. You will find it on the the specifications section of the owner's manual. Where it disagrees with this page, it wins. Match or exceed the size, load index, speed rating and construction class it gives, and use its pressure figure rather than anything printed on the tyre.
What changes on this machine
The supermoto version swaps the FX's 21 and 18 inch wheels for 17s and road tyres: Pirelli Diablo Rosso II, a 110/70 front on a 3.00 inch rim and a 140/70 rear on a 3.50.
Those are the sizes and ratings the Zero S used before 2024, 54H and 66H, so anything stocked for one of those bikes fits the other.
No tyres listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 110/70 R17. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

Including the manufacturer's own published figure. Neither source is standing next to your vehicle, which is why the placard still wins.

Common questions
- What size tyres does the Zero FXE take?
- It runs 110/70 R17. The exact fitment for your machine is on The specifications section of the owner's manual.
- Can I fit a cheaper tyre to a Zero FXE?
- Only at 110/70 R17 54H or better. That is the figure to hold: a tyre below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
