Your own placard is the authority. You will find it on the the specifications section of the owner's manual. Where it disagrees with this page, it wins. Match or exceed the size, load index, speed rating and construction class it gives, and use its pressure figure rather than anything printed on the tyre.
What changes on this machine
The front is a tall, narrow 100/90-19, which is a trail bike's shape rather than a road bike's, and Zero fitted dual-purpose Pirelli MT-60s at both ends.
The DSR has the bigger motor but not bigger tyres: both versions take 57H at the front, 230kg, and 65H at the rear, 290kg.
From the 2024 model year Zero rebuilt the DS and DSR on the DSR/X's 120/70-19 and 170/60-17 sizes. We have not found a load and speed rating for that generation to our standard, so these figures do not cover it.
No tyres listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 100/90-19. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

- Zero Motorcycles 2025 DS/DSR/DSR/X owner's manual, showing the 2024-on DS and DSR on Pirelli Scorpion Trail II 120/70-19 and 170/60-17 (sizes only, which is why that generation is excluded): https://zeromotorcycles.learnupon.com/r/5ns5km0eqjsj2cyqsr6he2t4i3svwze (linked from https://www.zeromotorcycles.com/owners)
Including the manufacturer's own published figure. Neither source is standing next to your vehicle, which is why the placard still wins.
Common questions
- What size tyres does the Zero DS and DSR take?
- It runs 100/90-19. The exact fitment for your machine is on The specifications section of the owner's manual.
- Can I fit a cheaper tyre to a Zero DS and DSR?
- Only at 100/90-19 57H or better. That is the figure to hold: a tyre below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
