Stark Varg MX

The Stark Varg MX runs one fitment, 80/100-21. It is staggered: a 80 section at the front and a 110 at the back, so the two can never be swapped across axles and the rear goes first.

What changes on this machine

The standard motocross pairing, a 21 inch front and a 19 inch rear, on Pirelli Scorpion MX32s from the factory: 80/100-21 and 110/90-19.

No load index or speed rating is moulded on these, because a motocross tyre is built for a closed track and is not approved for the road.

Stark's MX 1.2 page also lists an 18 inch rear configuration on 90/90-21 and 140/80-18. That is a different wheel set, and the figures here do not describe it. Neither do they describe the road-legal Varg EX.

No tyres listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 80/100-21. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

Common questions

What size tyres does the Stark Varg MX take?
It runs 80/100-21. The exact fitment for your machine is on There is no placard. The size is moulded into the sidewall.
Can I fit a cheaper tyre to a Stark Varg MX?
Only at 80/100-21 or better. That is the figure to hold: a tyre below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
