Specialized Turbo Vado tyres

The Specialized Turbo Vado runs 58-584 in ETRTO sizing, the width in millimetres followed by the rim bead seat diameter. The Specialized Turbo Como takes the same size.
Every fitment
| Generation | Trim | Wheel | Tyre size | Inch size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Current | Turbo Vado 4.0 / 4.0 Step-Through (Specialized Pathfinder Sport Reflect) | 27.5in | 58-584 | 650Bx2.3 |
Your own placard is the authority. You will find it on the printed on the tyre sidewall, next to the pressure range. Where it disagrees with this page, it wins. Match or exceed the size, load index, speed rating and construction class it gives, and use its pressure figure rather than anything printed on the tyre.
What changes on this bike
The second-generation Vado 4.0 rolls on 650B wheels with the same Pathfinder Sport Reflect at both ends, a 2.3in gravel-style tread with reflective sidewalls and Specialized's BlackBelt puncture strip.
Specialized publishes this tyre by inch size only (650Bx2.3) and a 35-65 psi range; the 58-584 ETRTO figure is the conventional conversion for that width rather than a number printed on Specialized's own page, so read the sidewall before ordering.
Specialized does not list an E-50 or ECE-R75 rating for the Pathfinder Sport, so it is a fitment for the standard Vado, not for a speed-pedelec build.
Specialized's 2023 Vado 4.0 Step-Through page lists the rims as 29 front and 27.5 rear while naming 650B tyres at both ends; the tyre lines agree with every other Vado 4.0 listing, so treat the rim line as an error.
No tyres listed against this fitment yet. Product specifications are published from each manufacturer's own data and that work is not finished for 58-584. Match or exceed every figure in the table above and you cannot go far wrong.

Including the manufacturer's own published figure. Neither source is standing next to your vehicle, which is why the placard still wins.

Common questions
- What size tyres does the Specialized Turbo Vado take?
- It runs 58-584. The exact fitment for your bike is on Printed on the tyre sidewall, next to the pressure range.
- Can I fit a cheaper tyre to a Specialized Turbo Vado?
- Only at 58-584 or better. That is the figure to hold: a tyre below the load index, the speed rating or the construction class is not a cheaper one, it is the wrong one.
