What changes on this bike
Cube's Size Split puts the small frame on 27.5in wheels and every larger size on 29in, so the Smart Sam 2.6 comes in two bead diameters on what is sold as one model.
The hardtail frame takes a 67 mm tyre at most by Cube's own geometry table, which leaves only a couple of millimetres over the stock 2.6in Smart Sam.
Cube specifies the Smart Sam in Schwalbe's Active line; Schwalbe's listing for the 29x2.60 Smart Sam carries an E-25 rating, which covers a 25 km/h hardtail but not a speed pedelec.
